Introduction of the Thread Gauges
Thread Gauges are used to check the diameter and thread pitch (inside or outside) of products and parts after turning using GO / NOGO tips.
Currently, thread gauge is a widely used measuring device for the manufacturing and mechanical engineering industries.
Niigata Seiki Thread Gauges are manufactured and processed in Japan with high quality and precision to meet JIG and ISO standards.

Thread Limit Gauge OLD JIS / GPIP II / GRIR II
- For internal / external screw thread inspection
- Material:
– Thread Limit Plug Gauge GPIP II:
Gauge part: Alloy tool steel
Handle part: Aluminum
– Thread Limit Ring Gauge GRIR II: Alloy tool steel - Enables to inspect whether threaded parts are within upper / lower limits of the screw’s prescribed dimensional precision
- For the acceptance of a threaded part, the GO gauge should thread without any difficulties and the NOGO gauge should not thread more than two complete revolutions.
- Provided with inspection report
Thread Limit Gauge OLD JIS / GPWP II / GRWR II
